Foo Fighters Concert

Well, this was a nice way to start the week!  Since we still don't have a regular babysitter, my wonderful, accommodating mother once again flew across the country so we could go to a concert.  I lured her in with the promise of Fall colors and precious grandchildren.  We also tacked on to her trip, but more about that in the next post.  Anywho, back to the event at hand.  We got to the arena early enough to tailgate in the car because there was no way we were paying for drinks inside.

 The concert itself was incredible and incredibly loud!  These guys have been doing this for almost 25 years and you would think they were only 25 years old now.  They played a very energetic set that lasted THREE hours.

We got to see Dave Grohl play the drums too, which was pretty cool.

However, the most awesome part of our week was still to come!
